The short version: the app collects nothing at all, and this website keeps only the email addresses people choose to give us.

Who we are
Clause Paws is made by All-encompass Education, founded by Angela Jayne Kilpatrick and based in the United Kingdom. All-encompass Education decides how any personal details are used, which makes it the “data controller” under UK data protection law.
The Clause Paws app
- Your detectives, your cases and your settings live only on your device.
- Nothing is sent to us, or to anyone else.
- There are no accounts, no logins and no adverts.
- Erase everything in Settings, or delete the app, and it is gone.
This website
- We set no cookies and run no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
- Like every website, ours is delivered by a hosting company (Netlify). To send you the page and keep the site secure, Netlify briefly handles technical details such as your IP address. We do not use these to identify you.
If you join the waitlist or register a school’s interest
- What we collect: your email address. For schools, also the school’s name. Nothing else.
- Why: to email you about Clause Paws (when it launches, and occasional news before then) and, for schools, to get in touch about the pilot. We do this with your consent, which you give by sending the form.
- Where it is kept: with Netlify, the company that hosts this website. Netlify is based in the United States and holds the details on our behalf.
- Who can see it: only the small team that builds Clause Paws and manages its website. We never sell your details or pass them to anyone else for their own use.
- How long we keep it: until you ask us to remove it, or until we no longer need it for the reasons above.
- Changing your mind: every email we send will tell you how to stop hearing from us.
Children
The forms on this website are for grown-ups: parents, carers and school staff. We do not knowingly collect details from children. The app collects nothing from anyone.
Your rights
You can ask to see the details we hold about you, have them corrected or deleted, or withdraw your consent, at any time. Use the form below and we will reply by email. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
If anything here changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
